Mehrnoosh Babaahmadifooladi, PhD
Dr. Mehrnoosh Babaahmadifooladi earned her Ph.D. in Applied Biological Science in 2020 from the Faculty of Bioscience Engineering at Ghent University. Her research focused on assessing the exposure and risk of heavy metals in food, resulting in discussions at the EU level on the impact of bioaccessibility/bioavailability estimations on final exposure values. During her Ph.D., she received funding from the Federal Public Service of Belgium (FOD) and the Nickel Institute, Canada.
As a postdoctoral researcher at Ghent University, Dr. Babaahmadifooladi contributed to several EU projects, including hazard characterization, chemical exposure/risk assessment, data processing, project management, and supervision. She has co-authored scientific papers and written reports for national and international organizations, including FOD, EFSA, and the Nickel Institute.
At ARCHE Consulting, Dr. Babaahmadifooladi leverages her expertise to develop guidance documents on environmental exposure and risk assessments of metals.
