Zinc Rainwater Check

The 'Zinc-Roof Assessment Tool for the Environment' (Zn-RATE) is a tool designed to combine the known weathering effects of natural zinc from zinc sheet building materials with an environmental assessment. Zn-RATE calculates the amount of zinc released into rainwater running off a zinc roof, façade, or gutter. However, unlike other tools, Zn-RATE also automatically performs a local environmental assessment using the most current EU-accepted scientific methodology.
